Human mutants (or Homo sapiens superior) were created by God . Approximately 5000 years ago, God came to Soloris (which at the time was without life) and performed a great miracle on Soloris' highest lifeforms, the Solorians. The abilities granted by the presence of this X-Gene can be minuscule to awe-inspiring, as evidenced by the great variety of powers exhibited by the many well known mutants of 313 Earth. For example, all of the members of HALO , and members of the VSS are quite powerful, while others possess seemingly trivial abilities.

Mutant Population

Before the The Seven's attack on Soloris, the mutant population was estimated at 5000, which decreased to 1000 after the attack.

At the time of the Deletion, there were around 100 individuals who were recognized as mutants, with 50 registered by the Solorian Government. Many mutants were later revealed to be powered, having hidden their mutant powers or/and their presence to the world, while many of the still-powered were killed during the violence following the depoweration.
